At least 4 people dead Cyclone Nisarga leaving the tale of destruction




The Cyclone Nisarga which claimed 4 lives fizzled out into a depression and was headed towards the Vidarbha region in the east. An expected increase in wind conditions up to 120 kilometres, cyclone Nisarga is likely to make landfall on the north coast of Maharashtra in the afternoon between 01:00 pm to 04:00 pm. The IMD chief cautioned people to remain safe as the cyclone is likely to make structural damage such as uprooting trees, damage to thatched houses and so on. The intensity of the cyclone is likely to weaken by midnight, and subsiding completely by Thursday.
