THUMB-SIZED BABY POTOROO ENJOYS STRAWBERRY FROM MOM’S POUCH

The 13-second-video shows a mommy potoroo enjoying a strawberry, but if you look carefully, you will see a thumb-sized baby potoroo in her pouch, also enjoying a strawberry. The clip is from Cleland Wildlife Park, south-west of Adelaide, Australia.

This is Potoroo, they are related to Kangaroo & Wallaby and are one among the 250 species of the marsupials found in Australia.

Potoroo or Potorus is a genus of smaller marsupials. According to the caption, potoroos are related to kangaroos and wallaby. They are also known as kangaroo rat and are found in Australia.
