Rental stores have begun strict adherence to social distancing since the first day of the 21 day lock down.
A sigh of relief:-
However,the biggest relief is for those who went to panic buying mode after the lock down was announced that big retail store,Big Bazar and More have enough quantities of essential goods.But there was a shortage of goods in the local shops.
The West Bengal government made it clear there will be no shortage of goods in any shop in the state.However it has been witnessed there was a problem in PDS(Ration shops) in the state.
No price and supply shortage:-Apart from this,the retail stores have also not increased the rates of items like local shop owners have done.Reliance Fresh was still offering discounts like it used to give earlier.
Changing trends:-However,the entry to these stores now is not as easy as it is used to be earlier.Entry to only five customers at a time is allowed in these stores as they have been asked to follow the social distancing strictly.
Social Distancing:-Customers are standing in a queue outside stores have been asked to maintain a minimum distance of one meter.They have been provided with a number for their turn and are not allowed in if they are not wearing masks.
Mask is the important gear:-The guards of Reliance Store stopped a man from entering the store as he was not wearing a mask.The man called up the Police also did not allow him to enter.
