Pune Police shared a precautionary measure regarding face masks in a new post on Twitter in the wake of the novel coronavirus pandemic. In order to contain the spread of the deadly virus, it is imperative to wear face masks if you step out of home.

After use, you must wash your masks with detergent and water and dry them. But do not share your face masks with others, Pune Police said in its new post.

In fact, Pune Police’s post also includes a Nirma jingle twist. Remember the ‘Hema, Rekha, Jaya aur Sushma’ line that the detergent brand used in its advertisement? In their post, Pune Police shared a graphic that showed four face masks, each left to dry on a clothes line, with adequate space in between them.

Hema, Rekha, Jaya and Sushma’s names were printed on the masks.

“Hang out your masks to dry, not your safety. Do not accidentally share masks. #SabkiSafetyKeLiye #UseYourOwnMask #OnGuardAgainstCorona,” Pune Police said in the caption of their post.
